At Triple S Shepherds we enjoy helping you find the perfect German Shepherd puppy for your family! We appreciate having “get acquainted” conversations with you. Our goal is that every puppy from our farm will be welcomed into a loving and caring home. We have 2 different lines that we breed. One is our balanced family Shepherds that we breed to be a little more low keyed for family environments at a more economical price then our imported lines (generally combinations of Czech, DDR, West German Working Lines and some West German Showlines) which tend to be high drive and strong willed. Unlike the family line our imported lines are AKC registered and may be better suited for experienced Shepherd owners or Law enforcement although we have many of these in family environments. All of our puppies are micro-chipped at our expense (you will need to register the chip in your name) for your protection
We try to have at least three litters of German Shepherd puppies for sale each year. Please note: We do provide a wait list on upcoming litters. You may request to be on our general non-deposit wait list. Or you may request to be on the guaranteed wait list of a particular litter with a $500 NON refundable deposit. If a puppy is not available for any reason or if the puppies in the chosen litter are not a good fit for you, including color, personality or timing, your deposit will be rolled over to the next available litter of your choice, it will NOT be refunded. Your deposit only guarantees you a pick of an available puppy from your chosen litter and does NOT guarantee color, personality, or that the timing of the litter will fit your schedule. We will note your written preferences and make a reasonable effort to contact you when the puppies are 6 weeks old and it is time for you to make your pick. If you want pick of the litter there will be an additional NON refundable cost of $500. If there is no response within 24 hours we will proceed to the next person’s pick, even if you have purchased a pick of the litter. We reserve the right to retain puppies for our breeding program including the one you may be interested in even if you purchased a pick of the litter.
At Triple S Shepherds we breed for you our clients. We do not breed to make other breeders happy or for their approval. Which might be why our mission statement is “It is our goal to raise Shepherds to enhance the lives of our owners”

- We dont discuss pricing until we find out if you are suited for one of our German Shepherd (our puppies are raised indoors for the 1st 6 weeks of their life)
- Our “get acquainted” conversations with you help us to determine if you can handle being “owned” by a GSD and if so which puppy will be best suited for you, your family, and your needs. When possible we also like you to meet the puppies and see if a particular one chooses you as German Shepherds are known to do.
- Don’t feel bad if it turns out you are not a good fit for a German Shepherd since they are like bringing a 4 year old child into the house.. Not everyone has the time or the resource$ to properly care for the Shepherd that will devote their life to you. We would much rather that you NOT get one of our GSD’s if you are unable or unwilling to commit your time & money to your majestic German Shepherd. - Before coming home with you, your puppy will have a veterinary exam as well as first shots and de-worming. We will send his/her health records home with you along with other important papers.
- We send home a packet of the food that your puppy is currently eating along with feeding instructions.
- 6% Alabama Sales tax will be added to the net purchase price quoted as required by state law.
- If no current puppies are available you may be added to our wait list.You may inform us at this time whether you choose to be on the general wait list or the specific wait list. The specific wait list requires a NON-refundable deposit of $500 to secure a puppy.
